A curious black-and-white cat peers through the open door as three little trick-or-treaters wait outside beneath a starry Halloween sky. Glowing windows, a crescent moon, and tiny Halloween treat bags make this miniature painting a whole Halloween story in just 2.5 × 3.5 inches.
This original ACEO was inspired by Hopper, my wobbly rescue cat and mascot of Trinity River Editions. His curiosity and personality have inspired a growing collection of little adventures in paint.
