A little black-and-white cat sits quietly among the wildflowers, watching the sun settle over the water. With a soft pink-and-gold sky, colorful flowers, and the evening light reflecting across the lake, this tiny painting captures one of those peaceful moments when there is nowhere else you need to be.
Inspired by Hopper, my real-life wobbly rescue cat and mascot of Trinity River Editions. Hopper may be known for his wobbles, tumbles, and adventures, but sometimes the best adventure is simply finding a beautiful place to sit and watch the world.
