A Little Wobbly. A Lot Wonderful.
This design is especially close to my heart because the cat pictured isn't just a cute wobbly cat. He's Hopper.
Hopper has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), sometimes called "wobbly cat syndrome." His condition affects his coordination, so he may walk a little differently, lose his balance, or wobble his way toward wherever he has decided he needs to be.
But the wobble is only one small part of who he is.
Hopper is funny, determined, curious, loving—and completely himself. Living with him inspired the words on this shirt:
A Little Wobbly. A Lot Wonderful.
I wanted to create something that celebrates cats like Hopper without making them seem sad or defined by their disability. The uneven, playful lettering surrounding his portrait is intentional—a little visual nod to the wobble that makes Hopper, Hopper.
The black-and-white design keeps the focus on his face and the message, creating a simple shirt that can be worn by CH cat families, rescue-cat lovers, special-needs pet advocates, or anyone who simply loves the sentiment behind it.
This is an original Trinity River Editions design inspired by the real Hopper.
