After months of planning, painting, writing, and creating, I’m so excited to officially open Trinity River Editions — a home for books, artwork, and resources inspired by Texas, Spanish Texas, and beyond.
This shop brings together so many of my passions:
📚 Rare & collectible books – including treasures on Texas history and Spanish colonial life, anticipating the launch of my historical fiction novel on a Spanish Captain who went from outlaw to Governor of Spanish Texas!
🎨 Original art and prints – from small art cards to larger canvases, each piece rooted in the stories and spirit of Texas.
✍️ Educational resources – from teacher study guides to certification prep, crafted from years of classroom experience.
🌟 Creative projects – like Flush Diaries, coloring books, and puzzle collections.
Why the Image?
This image says it best: All of our creative brands — Artery by Darie, Shaddoze, Nancy Sue Press, and Bless the Teacher — now flow together under one name. It’s a reflection of how art, stories, and resources can come together to inspire, teach, and connect.
Why the Name?
The Trinity River runs through the heart of my personal family history and my beautiful Texas history. It connects cultures, communities, and centuries of stories — just as I hope this shop connects you with art, books, and resources that inspire, teach, and bring joy.

Your order might come from a few different places:
- My studio in Texas (for rare books, original art, and art cards).
- Trusted print partners like Printful and Gelato (for posters, apparel, mugs, and canvas prints) and Amazon or other book retailers where we keep our inventory.
- Or instantly, if you purchase digital downloads.
No matter where it comes from, I personally oversee each listing to make sure quality comes first.
